About Speyfruit


My name is Ian Taylor and I am the proprietor of Speyfruit Ltd. and have over 35 years experience in the fruit & vegetable trade.

In 2008 I saw a niche in the market for processing vegetables and since then I have never looked back.

We started by peeling onions for a local business and now we have a purpose built factory that is capable of producing 20 tonnes of produce a day.

 
 
Our Values
  • We are involved with the implementation of the Healthy Eating Initiative and are currently considering different ways to further advance this crucial ‘5 a day eating plan’ to the populace.
  • New equipment has been sourced to allow us to increase our productivity substantially. This will enable us both to increase our product range and to compete in larger markets.

Speyfruit is the largest producer of fruit and vegetables in the North of Scotland. We offer a bespoke service with all produce processed to specific customer requirements, peeling, coring, slicing, dicing and shredding to various cut dimensions.

Our food processing facility has the state of the art machinery that can produce up to two tons per hour while adhering to strict food standard requirements.

We are rightly proud that we have maintained the BRCGS accreditation (Global standard for food safety) for many years now.

Our staff receive regular training in current food safety and hygiene processes and they are our key to our success in a fast changing competitive market.

Our Produce

Speyfruit’s fresh produce is well known in the region and we are very proud that many of our original customers are still trading with us.

The customer loyalty is due to the determination of the family owner with our ‘no quibble’ guarantee on consistency and freshness of our produce.

You can place your orders via telephone or you can order from our new online shop which you can find on our web page which will give you a large selection of products we can offer consumers now.

We also offer a daily delivery service throughout Moray from a Monday to a Saturday.
